Information needed for your account.

Your email address, account identifier and verification records support sign-in codes, secure access and essential account messages. Signed-in question-bank attempts and results support My Progress. Guest mini-tests and Workbook chapter checks are separate from that account history.

Marketing preferences and consent records document your optional choice and help honour withdrawals.

Account processing supports the service you request; optional marketing and analytics depend on separate consent. Security and essential administration may involve legitimate interests.

Request totals are not visitor journeys.

Belgium Theory’s stored anonymous counters and optional analytics events are retained for up to 90 days. Use Privacy choices in the footer to allow, decline or withdraw optional first-party analytics; changing the choice stops future optional collection.

Google AdSense needs your separate permission.

Google AdSense (publisher ca-pub-7241562057861115) is configured on public pages. Its script remains inactive until you explicitly select Google AdSense advertising in Privacy choices. Existing analytics permission does not enable advertising. Login, account, payment, private administration and unrecognised paths are excluded, as are URLs with query parameters or fragments.

When you allow advertising, Google and its partners may use cookies, IP addresses and device information to deliver, measure and personalise ads. We do not deliberately send account details, emails, authentication codes, study results, form contents or private URL parameters to Google advertising. Referrer information is suppressed. Read Google advertising information and Google Privacy Policy. Use Privacy choices to decline or withdraw advertising permission without losing access to learning features. Google Analytics remains disabled.

Essential access. Device-local learning.

Essential cookies or browser storage maintain secure account sessions, remember study state and save separate first-party analytics and advertising choices. Optional first-party session analytics runs only after you select “Allow optional analytics”.

Belgium Theory also keeps anonymous hourly totals of public page loads and named interface actions for basic service measurement and improvement. These counters do not store IP addresses, cookies, visitor or session identifiers, fingerprints, query strings or form values and cannot identify a person. They count events, not unique visitors, and are retained for up to 90 days. The owner-browser exclusion preference is stored locally only when deliberately requested.

Some free practice results and revision tools use local browser storage. They remain associated with that browser or device and are not automatically imported into account-based question-bank history. Clearing browser storage can remove device-local results and preferences.

Use Privacy choices in the footer to review the separate optional first-party analytics and advertising settings. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or requested account features from working.

Signing in is not permission to send offers.

Verification codes and essential account notices are separate from promotional messages. Optional study tips, product news and offers require the marketing choice made during verification. We record that choice and related consent information so withdrawals can be respected.

Withdraw consent through the unsubscribe option in a promotional email, or email [email protected]. Withdrawal does not cancel account access. A minimal suppression or consent record may be needed to prevent further unwanted messages and demonstrate that your request was honoured.

The services behind the platform.

The platform uses Cloudflare infrastructure for hosting and application storage, Supabase for email-based authentication and Brevo for transactional email delivery. Google Analytics remains disabled. Optional Google AdSense advertising is provided by Google and its partners under the separate choice described above.

Account and study information is kept while needed to provide the account, address a request or fulfil an applicable legal obligation. The 90-day period above applies to Belgium Theory application analytics, not to every provider’s records.

Providers may process information outside Belgium or the European Economic Area under their applicable transfer arrangements. The precise retention period depends on the data category, service need and any legal recordkeeping duty; we do not claim that all processing stays within Belgium or the EU.

Ask a question. Exercise a choice.

Depending on the information and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your personal information. You can withdraw consent and raise an objection where processing relies on legitimate interests. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or to protect legitimate rights.

Email [email protected] from your account address and describe your request. We may need a proportionate way to verify account ownership. Do not send sign-in codes, identity-document scans or card details unless a specific, appropriate verification process has been agreed.
